A Message from Mrs. Perrault, Principal
Dear Families,
It’s hard to believe our school year is already drawing to a close. The month of May brings many special events, especially for our 8th graders as they begin their final weeks at St. Stephen the Martyr Catholic School. We continue to keep in our prayers the 8th graders who received the Sacrament of Confirmation this week.
Tomorrow, we will honor the Blessed Mother with our May Crowning following the 8:15 AM All School Mass. It promises to be a beautiful and meaningful celebration. Thank you to our Catholic Identity Team, as well as our 2nd and 8th grade students and teachers for their preparation and leadership.
I would like to announce a change in the faculty in our Transitional Kindergarten. Mrs. Ashley Hoff and former TK teacher Mrs. Ruth Ferrante will share responsibility of a TK class for the 2026-2027 school year. Both are exceptional teachers and are also faced with the need to be part-time due to personal circumstances. Each teacher will work two consecutive days a week and work together one day per week. They will also both begin the school year and will attend important events together to ensure a consistent experience for our students. Since our TK staff is extremely collaborative, Mrs. Foster also looks forward to working with two teachers who know the program so well. We are thrilled to have these amazing teachers for our TK students.
If you have not yet completed enrollment for the 2026–2027 school year, please do so as soon as possible. May 1st is the deadline for current families to apply for financial aid. Additionally, much of our curriculum ordering takes place in May, so having accurate enrollment numbers is essential. If your child will not be returning next year, please notify the school office at your earliest convenience.
Thank you for your continued partnership. It is a true blessing to be part of this community.
United in Christ,
Mrs. Perrault
