Religious Education Classes this week will be the Family Mass.
We hope all of you will come for Mass and dinner this week! Come Tuesday or Wednesday--whatever works best! Please let us know when you RSVP how many of your family members will be joining you so that we order enough pizza for everyone!
Do not go to classrooms; all go directly to the worship space.
We could use a couple adults to help pour drinks and cut/serve pizza in the buffet lines and some EMHC's. Sign up with the link if you are available to help.

All volunteers should arrive by 5:10pm
Choir: If your student would like to sing with the choir and have not signed up, they may simply join us near the piano at either Mass! Our pianist will give instructions.
Greeter/Runner: We could still use a few student Greeters to take potluck food dishes from guests as they arrive and run dishes to the buffet tables in the Cafeteria. Please click above to sign up if your child can help!

The two top selling families will each win a voucher for a free 12-inch jumbo chocolate chip cookie cake from The Cookie Company that may be decorated for any occasion! Our top seller sold 38 tubs last year. Can you beat that?!
What are we raising money for?
This past summer, the Rel. Ed. Department purchased new updated catechist manuals and student workbooks for Grades 1-8 at a cost of just over $16,000. All proceeds from this fundraiser will go directly towards our department to help cover some of the costs with the curriculum updates, catechist training and volunteer appreciation, and tuition assistance.
Please ask a few friends and family members if they would like to order any cookies to help us "raise some dough"!
The cookies will come in handy during upcoming family gatherings or during the holidays for a quick treat or a hostess gift.

Stuff the Bus Diaper Drive Oct. 28 & 29
Please join us in collecting diapers (sizes 4, 5, 6, & pull ups) for local women and families in need.
The Big Red Husker Bus will be parked in the North lot during Rel. Ed. classes those two nights to help collect the donations.
Spirit Catholic Radio Art Contest
On October 1, Spirit Catholic Radio started taking submissions to the 2025 Art Contest. Returning this year, the winner's masterpieces will be turned into prayer cards! These cards will be available at all Spirit Catholic Radio events throughout the year and given to all of the Catholic elementary schools and participating Religious Education classes in the listening area. The theme for this year's contest in The Sorrowful Mysteries of the Rosary. Your artists can pick between the two mysteries for their grade range below. The winning artists will also receive prizes!
Art Contest entries are due by Friday, December 12th, 2025.
Religious Education Annual Fundraiser
Order forms and instructions were sent home with each student this past week. It is also included below to print off. Please have your child ask a few people if they would like to purchase some cookie dough for a great cause! All proceeds will directly go towards our department to help with catechist training and volunteer appreciation, curriculum updates, and tuition assistance.
New this year will be Chocolate Chip without oatmeal. Give it a try!
