First Communion Parent Meeting-January 30
A First Communion Parent Meeting is scheduled for January 30th at 7:30 p.m. in the dining room for parents of children receiving First Holy Communion. Preparations for our First Communion Masses will also be discussed. At least one parent of each communicant should attend. Please contact Chelsey Young at c.young@stephen.org with questions.

Feel free to substitute a grandma, aunt, older sister as needed! $25 per couple - This will be a night filled with fun, laughter & memories for moms and their sons hosted by the Cub Scouts of SSM. Registration
A non-refundable and non-transferable deposit of $105 per participant is due at the time of registration. Registration includes entrance to the conference, most meals, 2 nights in a hotel, transportation, and a t-shirt. If payment assistance is needed, please ask! Questions? Our Hospitality Ministry is looking for volunteers to help with Sunday Donuts and Coffee through the month of March. The time commitment is minimal and entails serving donuts, coffee, wiping down tables, greeting parishioners and guests. Families are welcome to sign up. More information/instructions will be provided upon signup confirmation.
WEATHER CANCELLATIONS
Should icy or snowy weather occur, the Religious Education program observes the school closing policies of the Millard School District. If Millard Public Schools cancel classes or evening activities due to inclement weather, we will not hold Religious Education classes that evening. Occasionally, because of deteriorating weather conditions during the day, we will need to cancel R.E. classes late in the afternoon or early evening, even when Millard has held classes.
Cancellations and plans for re-scheduling activities will be published on the parish web-site at www.stephen.org and families will be notified through a Flocknotes email/text. Parents should use their discretion as to whether it is safe for their children to attend class. The safety of our children is always our primary concern.
